The title of this book "Linger on Dawn" comes from my favorite of my brother's poems. A few weeks after he made Heaven his home, I remember taking a walk early one morning. In those days, I had to be at work at 6 a.m. and often had to walk across the Air Force base from one building to another in the newness of the day. That morning was peaceful. Winter was approaching, the air filled with the crispness of Autumn. The beautiful picture God painted in the sky that morning made me think of my brother as the sun rose over the mountains. I missed him, but whenever I miss him even now, thirteen years later, reading his poetry makes him feel so near. That morning, I found myself remembering him and softly whispering, "Linger on dawn, just stay where you are." Josh has left his mark on the world, and in the hearts of everyone who knew him. May his words be a balm for your soul as you read his last notebook of poetry in order from first page to last. The beginning of his journey started in the Midwest as he was led to the desert of Arizona...
